His herd had been reduced to three members himself included. What happened to everyone Iri? He asked his mental voice soft as he felt the little palomino Shetland spirit guide step up beside him. I don't know Brig...I just don't know. The painted stud smiled as he felt Iri drift off again. Climbing onto the island beneath Little Silver, Brig reared up and screamed out, his voice echoing around his lands and being picked up by the water spirits to be carried to Amaranta and Soap. Then coming back down on the island Brig gazed into the water spread around him and looked over his herdlands. They were very quiet now. Arima no longer ran about them, Wood was gone, Lakeena was gone, his herd had dwindled to nearly nothing. It was him, Soap and Amaranta now. He figured it was time to bring the three of them together, Ask Soap to take over Wood's spot ask Amaranta to take over Serenity's at his side. Putting a dagger into the iced over water, Brig faded the lands away and lifted his crown up. Winter had fallen over the lands, he could feel it in the crisp bite of the wind and he was glad for his winter coat. His gentle chestnut orbs gazed about at all sides of the lands looking for Soap's tell tale form and Amaranta's tell tale form. Shaking a little he stamped his daggers to keep the blood circulating. He didn't want to freeze out here, that would be no good. He snorted a little and twitched an aud, he thought he'd heard one of them approaching. It was time to let them meet each other. Will you get out of that freezing cold water before you become a frozen statue, also Briganti is calling you as well. So get moving solider . All right I am coming. Large white hooves galloped my large body over the land of the falls, i did not know if Brig knew but Wood had told me that I slept in the exact same place he did right underneath the weeping willow tree. Shaking my whole draft horse body as my large hooves quickly make their way towards where the palomino and ivory painted leader was waiting for the small herd. As my light bay auds flicked backwards while I galloped along the winter wonderland, the first time I had come here it was beautiful in the spring time, as my charcoal orbs looked around I knew it would be a very good time to start practicing my bending powers, I then stopped half way towards where my leader was waiting I then moved my weight upon to my hind pillars as I lifted my large front body into the air, as my fore pillars pawed the air happily, I then came down onto the snow with a large and loud stomp, which sent the ivory blanket of snow all over my body, after I did that I then kicked out my hind pillars kicking up more snow. Slowing my gait down towards a trot over the snowy land, over the hill and then my charcoal orbs then spotted my palomino and ivory leader and leader of this great place know as The Falls. I knew last time Brig had seen me I was in my very short summer coat, but now I had my full winter coat on, and my winter coat was longer then most for my breed. As I got closer towards where Brig was waiting, as I came towards him, I then opened my maw and my lyrics came out, Hello their Brig. Her breathing muffled by the sounds of the thick snow. Chilly wind blew at her but luckily some of her thick coat protected her. The Little Silver gurgled but then a small form of a horse came out of the water and floated toward Amaranta. "The Leader wants you", it whispered and faded away. Just then a scream from Brig met her ears and she began to walk towards him. Reaching Brig, Amaranta saw another horse. She walked to the draft, is what he looked like and gave him a small greeting. Amaranta then turned toward Brig, bowed, and said, "Greetings Briganti. How are you?". She then stood up and faced him. Waiting for the other horses to arrive. OOC: Im so sorry its short. Brig's auds picked up his words. Hello their Brig. Dipping his head in greeting to the stud Brig looked up as Amaranta's hoofbeats carried his way. He smiled as she too spoke. Greetings Briganti. How are you? The smile lingered on his maw as he spoke to each of them in turn. "Soap, this is Amaranta. Amaranta, Soap." Then he fell silent a moment to let the introductions sink in. Then he spoke again. "I have asked for your prescence here, as it is only the three of us in this lovely land." Stopping again to let that sink in Brig looked between his two members. The smile slipped away as he sighed a little, the war had really taken its toll on the place. Shaking himself, he half smiled again and spoke. "As it is only us, I have favours I wish to ask of you two." Turning to Soap first Brig spoke to him directly. "Of you Soap, I wish to ask you to become my Beta stallion, I think you would be just right to take over Wood's old position. Will you take it?" He asked then turned to Amaranta. "Of you, dearest Amaranta, I wish to ask you to lead at my side and take over Serenity's old post. You are more than worthy of it...and my love. Will you take it?" He asked her as he moved a little closer to the two of them. His small herd, his small family. He looked from one to the other, his auds tipped to catch their answers his orbs softly pleading with them both to take the offered positions. He had to rebuild his herd, but that meant that there would need to be some hunting about for members. They could all do that at some point but right now, all Brig wanted to know was whether he could call Soap his Second-in-Command and if he could call Amaranta his love and his Queen. You know Soap, you really should start looking. Wood I’m only four years old. True Then my light bay colored auds pricked forwards as I heard Briganti’s lyrics come towards my auds, I listen carefully to what he was saying and I heard that there were only three of us left, I then heard Wood’s quite lyrics and all he said was that is a shame. Shaking my crown lightly I then hear my name being said yet again, but this time it took a little while for the question Brig had ask me to sink in. It then took me another minute to have a think about what Brig had just asked me, I knew that I could not get help from Wood, because he said it was my choice alone. Then I opened my ivory painted maw and my gentle lyrics came out, I will be honoured to be your second in command. So this must be the other herd member, she thought. Amaranta turned back and faced Briganti once again. He stood there, facing them with a regal air and powerful authority. She listened as he mentioned that they were the only three in the land. Three. She blinked her eyes in surprise at this fact. Wow! This is a small herd then, she thought. Stepping out of thought, she then listened as he mentioned that he had two favors to ask them. Ok. Shoot then, she thought. She listened as Briganti asked Soap to take the Second-in-Command position and Soap accepting it. Then Briganti looked toward Amaranta and her heart started to beat faster. What is he going to ask me? She thought. Then he asked it. He wants me to be his Queen, she thought. Amaranta looked down and she began to look around. "I um I um. Oh dear. This shocking", she said. Amaranta then started telling herself to calm down and she took a deep breath and then she exhaled. "Yes. I would love to be your Queen", she said. Then he turned back to Amaranta and smiled softly. His question still lingered in the air between them but then his audits flicked as her gentle lyrics drifted toward him. I um I um. Oh dear. This shocking, Brig sighed nearly inaudibly. Way to go dummy...Oh be quiet Iri I don't think she's done yet. Brig heard the Shetland fall quiet as Amaranta continued her answer. Yes. I would love to be your Queen. Brig heard the soft sigh of Iri as she disappeared again in a swirl of soft laughter. Brig smiled as he spoke to her then. "More good news to brighten my dreary heart. It shall be so. Congratulations to you both." Brig told them with a smile as he dipped his crown to them both. "Now then, on to some herd business. As you can both see, we are very small in numbers, just the three of us. We all need to spread out and search for new members to join us. This may take quite some time though so let's be patient and rest for a few days, then get the hunt going." He said to them and then fell silent to let it sink in before continuing. "If there are no questions I will call this gathering closed." And with that, Brig looked from Soap to Amaranta and tipped his audits toward them to see if they had any questions. If not, he wanted to have a chance to talk with Amaranta and Soap individually.
